Carry On Tuesday # 78

I've given you next weeks prompt a day earlier as I am away holiday today. The FOLLOWING week, the prompt will appear a little later than usual, on Tuesday 16th October

Your prompt for Tuesday November 9th

This week we have the first line of an ancient folk song called My Love which was brought up to date and recorded by Steeleye Span in their inimitable style a few years ago

Do you remember what we promised when we met...?

Use all or part of it within your poem or prose, and then leave the url of your post with Mister Linky and a comment.

To hear My Love and read the lyrics, visit Carry On Tuesday Plus

  2. I never edit properly....
tried to say that I was going to write about the promises of politician that have been flying fast and free but I am sick of politics so I opted to write about the really good thing in life...girls (actually - a girl)

  9. Okay... so my entry is also late -- I think -- but I read Maureen's poem, Cast Offs, over at Writing without Paper and the muse took a run through me and well, I just had to let her have her way!

Thanks for all the others sharing their gifts. it's wonderful to be surrounded by such beauty!
