Carry On Tuesday # 190

This week we have the title of one of Abba's songs as our prompt. It was one of their lesser known recordings until it was featured in the film Moulin Rouge sung somewhat endearingly by Pierce Brosnen.

When all is said and done

Use it as you will within your story or poem, then hand over your URL to Mister Linky . Don't forget to trot around your fellow contributors sites to see how they've used it.

Carry On Tuesday # 189

It's back to the classics for this week's prompt. I've taken a line from Charles Dickens' story of Nicholas Nickleby

The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of
 meeting again

Use all or some of the quote as part of your short story or poem then leave your URL with Mister Linky esquire. Why not then trot around your fellow contributors sites to see what they've made of it!

Carry On Tuesday # 188

Suddenly everybody is talking about Les Misérables the movie! The  author of the novel which inspired it was of course Victor Hugo who is also well known for his pithy one-liners!

This week our prompt is a quote from Victor Hugo

Life is a flower of which love is the honey

Use all or part of it within your poem or prose, and leave your details with Mister Linky. Then why not take a wander around your fellow scribe's sites!

Carry On Tuesday ~ 187

It's hard to believe, for some of us anyway, that The Beatles were in their prime 50 years ago! Their first album Please Please Me was released in March 1963, and I queued outside the HMV store in Oxford Street London to get the copy which still has pride of place in my record collection!

Our prompt this week is provided by the opening lines of The Beatles 1963 album track There's a Place

There is a place,
Where I can go

Use some or all of it in your story or poem then leave your URL with Mister Linky
who awaits your every command. Please don't forget to have a trip  around your fellow
scribe's sites to see what they've made of it!
