Cary on Tuesday # 133

When Rachmaninov wrote his second piano concerto in 1901, he could never have imagined that  one day his melody would become one of the best known pop ballads of all time. This week I offer you the opening four lines of All By Myself

When I was young
I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are gone

Help yourself to as little or much as you need to come up with a poem or story, then leave your URL with Mister Linky. A comment would be nice too!

  1. Good phrases to work with! Mr Linky seems to have 'gone'. I'll be back to check him out later.

  2. Thanks for posting another challenge for us. I enjoyed this one. I remember listening to that song when it first came out. It was always sad. Here is my sad interpretation.
    Enjoy,
    Isadora
