Carry On Tuesday # 182

I'm off on my travels again and as it's likely I will be in areas with limited internet access, I'm having to abandon you for three weeks! For that reason I've chosen two prompts to keep you busy until I return on Saturday December 8th.

Our prompts today both come to us courtesy of John Lennon and The Beatles, and are the titles
of two of their most loved songs

Imagine

Here there and everywhere

Use them in whatever way you wish, then leave your URL with Sargent Linky .

To read the lyrics to these two songs and to enjoy listening to them, visit Carry On Tuesday Plus

Carry On Tuesday # 181

This week I have chosen a quote by Mahatma Gandhi to inspire us.

Where there is love there is life

Use part or all of it in your short story or poem, then leave your URL with the learned Mister Linky. Please then visit the sites of our fellow scribes to see how they used it.

To read a few more of his quotes and learn a little about the man himself, go to Carry On Tuesday Plus

Carry On Tuesday # 180.

I’ve chosen a favourite song of mine (and a popular funeral song!) to provide us with a few words of inspiration. I was however unsure about which bit to use, so in a break from convention, I’m putting up both the title and the first line! Take your choice!

Our prompts this week come from a 1982 song sung by Colin Blunstone with the Alan Parsons Project.

Title : Old and wise
First line: As far as my eyes can see

Use either or both of the offerings then leave your URL with the old and wise Mister Linky, then have a scoot around your fellow scribblers sites to see how they got on.

I do urge you to visit Carry On Tuesday Plus to listen to this amazing song and to read the lyrics which are both poignant and reflective.
