ReplyDeleteThanks for the prompt...the song has always been one of my favorites...It took me back to the past.
ReplyDeleteIs it a song?
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Really?
Gosh, I can't believe I'm old enough to remember Mary Hopkins on Opportunity Knocks.. sheesh!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great prompt!
ReplyDeleteThis was a haunting song way back when. The ryhming words so peotic and the unusual instruments made it quite catchy. I enjoyed working on this prompt.

great prompt! thanks!
ReplyDeleteWell, I was surprised at what came out with that prompt! Thanks for the cathartic impulse!
ReplyDeleteIndeed it set me on a nice journey and appreciate it as well. Thank You for the beautiful prompt.
ReplyDeleteI love that song! I remember my mom and her best friend used to play it all the time, they sang along and aloud, although they did not know the English lyrics. Maybe the song used to have a Bulgarian version of the lyrics, such things were usual in those days...
ReplyDeleteGreat tune! I doubt my poem is nearly as well-made, yet it was a real pleasure writing it!
