carry on tuesday # 125

We all meet here each week because we love words. So this week I searched for quotations from great wordsmiths. In a break from convention, I’m giving you not one but two prompts this week. The first is by Samuel Beckett and the second from Robert Burton. Use either or both!

1. Words are all we have

2. A blow with a word strikes deeper than a blow with a sword

Use part or all of the prompt at the beginning or within your poem or story. Please leave your name and url with Mister Linky. A comment would be nice too! To read more quotes about words visit Carry On Tuesday Plus
